Urban Expectations

When I think of urban settings or big cities I picture tall buildings, lots of traffic, taxis, and lots of people walking, or biking. the bigger the city the more populated, or crowded everything is it seems. The people in cities seem to be in a rush, always on the go. There are also many forms of transportation in urban settings such as walking, biking, driving, catching a taxi, subway, bus, etc. I picture New Orleans how it is portrayed in movies or TV shows or what people have told me who have been there already. I expect the food and music to be a big part of the culture because everyone who has told me about their experience in New Orleans mentions the food and how great it is or how different it is. Many people mention the music as well. I get my assumptions about New Orleans from movies or TV shows I have watched which are set in New Orleans and from people who have visited New Orleans and told me about their experiences.
